“It does not take sharp eyes to see the sun and the moon, nor does it take sharp ears to hear the thunderclap. Wisdom is not obvious. You must see the subtle and notice the hidden to be victorious,” said Sun Tzu, an ancient high-ranking Chinese military general, in his military treatise THE ART OF WAR.
Did Modi see the subtle and notice the hidden or did his non-performing henchmen blindfold him? Bringing Bedi was a clever move but the people were already angry about Roman Circus and bogus feel good factor.
Roman Circus did help spreading Modi’s popularity far and wide but an angry Delhi was ready to give him a thunderclap to stun him this time around.
Unlike the Romans who had almost unlimited food to eat and then enjoy their daily dose of circus, Modi was creating “Feel Good Factor” for those on empty stomach. AAP thrashing is warning to Modi not to carry BJPwallahs on his shoulder who do nothing except pretend to do. The inaction of Modi’s men and women neutralised the Tajmahal he built in the air.
Arvind Kejriwal, whether one liked it or not, was the last hope for the harassed people of Delhi. All — backward, forward, upward, downward, sideward, handicapped, non-handicapped, suppressed for centuries, not suppressed for centuries — were fed up with BJP nautanki and went gung ho giving AAP the chance to beard the BJP lion in its own den. Sadly it brought down the invincibility and larger-than-life aura of Modi persona.
Sheer drama of inviting and dining with glitzy foreign dignitaries no doubt gives feel good factor. It cannot be an end in itself. The poor, after having suffered indiscriminate Congress Quotas and treacheries, wanted basic necessities. Delhi’s poor have only seen their condition worsen. So many rules to harass people and nothing being done to alleviate their plight. The thunderclap came at the right time felling BJPwallahs spending time singing Hosannas about themselves.
Modi’s role as ONE MAN ARMY has left the battalion lazing around for fear of doing something and hurting the “BIG BROTHER WHO IS WATCHING.”
Arnold Schwarzenegger once said, “I feel good because I believe I have made progress in rebuilding the people’s trust in their government.” Delhities were in no mood to trust BJP forming a government and miraculously solving their problems. Interestingly both rich and poor thought the same.
BJP has taken its Roman Circus tamasha too seriously instead of showing results on the ground. For once Pappu was right when he said during Chinese premier’s visit: AUR AB MODI CHINESE PM KO JHULE JHULA RAHE HAIN
Delhi’s resounding thunderclap (thunderSLAP?) is a warning to EVERYONE to perform or perish. Arvind Kejriwal must deliver even if he has to stop his impossible coughing. People are fed up with quotas and secularism and want real change on the ground. Hindu or Muslim all want daily bread with basic amenities. Try to ignore it and the anger will burst forth resulting in KICK IN THE BUTT.
